The most interesting in the collection

A unique museum object is a tea set decorated with drawings on the theme of Taras Shevchenko's works. The service for 12 people consists of 28 items. Porcelain artist Oleksandr Yarosh became the author of the drawings. And drawings on each subject of service do not repeat. The service was made at the Dovbysky porcelain factory in 1950.

Dovbysh Porcelain Factory is a porcelain and earthenware industry enterprise located in Dovbysh village, Zhytomyr region. Founded in 1823 by the Polish landowner Przebelski, the plant became a well-known enterprise in the 1840s. In the 50s of the twentieth century, a thorough reconstruction of the enterprise was carried out, as a result of which production processes were automated, which increased production capacity. At the present stage, the plant exists, but the production of porcelain has virtually ceased.

Problem

From February 24, 2022, due to the full-scale invasion of Russia by Ukraine, the museum is closed to visitors. However, he was left without funding, but needs to pay for utilities, services for the protection of the building, which is an architectural monument, as well as payments to its employees. Museum workers are trying to continue their activities outside the museum - arrange children's days, online workshops, tours. Your help is needed by the museum team to continue working and implementing new projects.
