The most interesting in the collection: In July 2021, after a long re-exhibition, the second floor of the museum was opened for visitors, which presents works by Ukrainian artists from the 1920s to the present. Thus, the museum team, and in particular the former director Oleksandr Roitburd, wanted to show how contemporary Ukrainian art has changed and formed. The exhibition presents works by such famous artists as Mykola Glushchenko, Oleksandr Atsmanchuk, Maria Prymachenko, Yuriy Yegorov, Oleksandr Roitburd, Vlada Ralko, Serhiy Lykov, Yuriy Sivyrin and others.

Problem

On February 24, 2022, the museum was forced to close to visitors due to a full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine, the collection was evacuated. Due to the closure, the museum lost most of its income and was unable to pay its employees. Your donkey can help museum workers stay in their jobs, continue to plan future exhibitions and engage in research.

Also in 2022, the Potocki Palace, which has housed a museum since 1899, was awaiting large-scale restoration. The roof and facade of the building need to be repaired, as well as the air conditioning system for storing valuable museum objects.
